All hand-held instruments on this site are warranted to be free of defects in manufacturing materials and workmanship for two years from date of purchase. Customers who feel an instrument is defective must return it to GYNEX for evaluation. Products found to be defective will either be repaired or replaced with the same or comparable product, at the discretion of GYNEX Customer Service. Warranty on any hand-held GYNEX instrument is voided if instrument is repaired or sharpened by anyone other than GYNEX. All GYNEX biopsy punches in this catalog will be sharpened free of charge for one year from date of purchase (if enough metal is remaining on tip to allow sharpening).

Warranties do not cover general maintenance, cleaning or sharpening needs that result from normal use, except as noted above regarding biopsy punch sharpening. Damages caused by misuse, improper care, cleaning, chemicals, or loss and theft are not covered by this warranty. Shipping charges are not covered for free sharpening warranty nor extended equipment warranty.
